Introduction About Myself : Amirul Hakim Bin Khairi (A196114)

Hi! I’m Amirul Hakim and I’m so excited to meet you all. Some people call me Mirul, while others call me Akim, whichever you guys feel comfortable to call me as I don't really mind either ways. Well, without further ado, let's start with my introduction.

To start it off, I'm going to start with my background, I am from Selangor and live in Kajang with my family. There are 7 of us, 5 siblings including me, and I'm the oldest one. I had just turn 19 this year on the 20th of October. I graduated from matriculation college in Negeri Sembilan (KMNS), in accounting course. If I am asked, what kind of a person am I? I think the best answer to that is I am an ambivert, which means a person who is not introverted nor extroverted, just in the middle or balanced I would say. I don't know why, but I really like balanced or well-rounded things since a child, it's a part of my character and it's not a bad thing, really. Due to this personality of wanting to balanced things, I am quite good at many other things like for example, you can talk to me about manga, manhwa, animes, movies and I probably know most of them, or you could ask me to play games since I'm quite a gamer too, from emulators, PC, consoles, to mobiles games, quite a collection of games I have played and finished. You could also invite me to play many kinds of sports like badminton, baseball, dodgeball, sprinting, futsal, basketball and much more, and this is without forgetting to do my studies of course, that's the main reason I am here. When you get to know and do multi-purpose stuff, I am pretty sure you can be an easily approachable person, this is what I have learned from my past self.

Now let's talk about me in UKM, I'm a first-year student at UKM, pursuing a bachelor's degree in business and administration, and hoping that I can change courses to accounting as of next year. I have been studying accounting since high school, maybe that was where it all started, the beginning of my passion towards accounting. I'm glad that I got enrolled here at UKM to further continue my studies, and also because it's convenient. Why convenient you asked? Firstly, it's because UKM is quite near to my home, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes travel by car, so mostly in weekends, you may not find me here as I am already at home, and secondly, it's because my father is also studying here, quite a shock, right? Yeah, he is pursuing his PHD's here in UKM, so sometimes when I'm going out with my friends, just to hangout and loiter around in UKM, I bumped into him occasionally, especially at Perpustakaan Tun Sri Lanang (PTSL), where he likes to do his research and writings. It's quite hilarious, seeing the reactions of my friends who didn't believe me at first until I show them my family photo.

Just realised, that this is quite a long introduction, I hope with this long introduction of myself, it can give you guys a picture of what kind of person am I, and to this I would also like to say sorry and thank you for taking a lot of your time with my rambling, I also hope we all can be good friends, have fun, create memories while we are still together here studying in UKM.
